Freelance projects

How it runs

01
Intro call
Thirty minutes. You describe the problem, I tell you honestly whether it is one I should be taking.
02
Scoped pilot
A written scope with a first deliverable small enough to prove the approach. If it does not work, you find that out early and cheaply.
03
Ship it
Into production, in front of real users. A demo that works 95% of the time is not the deliverable.
04
Hand over
Documentation and a working session with your team. The point is that the system keeps running after I stop invoicing.

Questions I get

01
Are you open to relocation?
Yes: the Gulf (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar), France and the rest of the EU, the UK, or the US. For freelance work I stay remote from Tunis, at UTC+1.
02
What languages do you work in?
English (C1), French (C1), and Arabic (native), including Tunisian and Egyptian dialect. Basic German. I teach in English, French and Tunisian, so explaining the technical part is routine.
03
Visa and notice period?
I hold a Tunisian passport and no foreign residency, so a move needs an employer-sponsored work visa. My notice period is 21 days.
04
Can you work alongside our team?
That is most of what I do day to day: set the AI direction, push systems into production, and bring the team up on MLOps so the work does not leave when I do.
05
What do you actually ship?
RAG and LLM agents, edge computer vision on Jetson, and classical data science. The common thread is systems that go live and stay live. The work page has the full list.
06
How do we start?
For a role: email me or book the call above, and I will send my resume. For a freelance project: a 30-minute call, then a written scope. Short diagnostics and multi-month builds both work.
